Complete Renovation & Extension

Like many of our clients, Eloise and her family had just purchased the detached 1960s house knowing it did not quite fit the demands of her growing family, her life style and social interests. The existing ground floor was too small and restricted to provide the space needed for contemporary living.

A complete and total reconfiguration of both ground and first floor layouts led to a large single storey extension as well as an additional bedroom in a two storey side extension.

The generous ground floor now accommodates a boot and shower room near the improved front entry, and a play area with steps leading into the kitchen. The sloping site allowed us to achieve beautifully high ceilings for the kitchen-dining area. The garden extension is largely glazed to maximise natural daylight in this new living accommodation and enhances the connection with the garden in a more engaging and delightful way.
